Astrology for the Week of November 7-13

This week, we have the last total lunar eclipse until March 14, 2025. I’m mentioning it because if you live somewhere that it will be visible, this is the last chance you’ll have to see one for a while.

I happen to love that sort of thing, so I’ll be getting up early and heading down to the beach to watch it. Not because it’s going to be a beautiful mystical upleveling magical experience. Nope. Not at all. This eclipse is next-level chaos. I’ll be going because I think they’re pretty and I’m the most silver-lining pragmatist you’ll ever encounter.

That basically sums up my advice for this week - and most of life. You might as well find beauty and wonder where you can because you’ll have to deal with the chaos regardless.

Monday is a serious “face the facts” kind of day. Circumstances are whatever they are in the moment. Wishing they were different and thinking of what might’ve been if they were different doesn’t accomplish anything. Look at where you are and make decisions from that place rather than where you wish you were or where you think you should be.

Tuesday morning at 6:02 am eastern, there is a total lunar eclipse in Taurus. It’s chaos and clarity that leads to an ending over the next six months that allows you to grow towards something better.

This is most relevant for people with planets or points between 14 and 18 of Taurus or Scorpio primarily but also Leo and Aquarius. 

Endings aren’t always fun for those around us and you may be the villain in someone else’s story in order to become the hero, or heroine, of your own. 

If the ending isn’t something you initiated or wanted, try to remember the growth is still moving you forward even if it feels subjectively like being on the other end of Maleficent’s wrath. 

By rising sign, where you can expect an ending that leads to growth:

• Aries Rising: Money, possessions, resources, and how you make a living
• Taurus Rising: Self-awareness, your identity, appearance, personality, the way you view yourself, your character, your primary motivation, your body, your health, and vitality

• Cancer Rising: Friends with influence, alliances, your hopes and dreams, social media, personal and professional networks, unions, mentors, and that which supports you
• Leo Rising: Your reputation, profession, actions, relationship with and to authority, your mother and her family, your destiny, and your ambitions
• Virgo Rising: Higher education, divination, foreign travel, religion, astrology, the divine masculine, and your ability to grow, adapt, and learn

Wednesday, the Moon moves out of the eclipse zone at 8:37 am, which will help start bringing the intensity down a little and overall, it is a much quieter and more focused day. If your plans got derailed earlier in the week, this is a good day to get back on track.

Friday night is when the waters really start to calm down as the Moon moves back into Cancer. It’s a really delightful start to a weekend that has a lot of soothing potential. 

I don’t know about you but I think a cozy weekend dreaming and taking action on some of those eclipse ideas that have come up over the past couple of weeks sounds pretty delightful - although if I’m honest, I’ll be waiting to initiate new endeavors until after the Sagittarius new moon.
