[Fate & Free Will ] Astrology for the Week of October 13 - 19

horoscope Oct 13, 2025

I often talk about astrology in terms of storytelling. Transits are narrative arcs that tell a cohesive story over time. Of course, it’s easier to figure out what that story is if you’re actively reading the book or watching the play and not just checking the study notes occasionally.

That’s why I provide a monthly interactive workbook in The Crusade for all of the transits that helps you figure out what they mean for you, track your predictions, and keep notes about what happened so you can predict the next part of the story more accurately.

This week, we have the start of a new story. Venus moves into Libra on Monday and begins something with the outer planets that the Moon will come in on Sunday and revisit. All of this in preparation for a Libra New Moon next week.

Every week we have a group coaching call where Crusaders review predictions, talk astrology, and get coached on both the aspects and the manifestations. We have a call Tuesday, you can join us here.

Monday

Monday has a lot going on. Venus moves into Libra at 5:18 pm eastern immediately begins playing with the outer planets, all while Pluto is stationing direct. It’s an intense day but a great time to start thinking about what new beginning you want in your Libra house.

Why? Because overall the day is generous and optimistic and things are a little more magical. The evening very much has daydream (or nightmare) vibes.

  • Best for: Romantic idealism, generosity in relationships, envisioning possibilities without needing all the details yet.
  • Potential Challenges: Confusing fantasy with reality in relationships, promising more than you can deliver, believing transformation will be easier than it is.

Tuesday

Tuesday mixes allure with instability. Inspiration is high but so is the risk of seeing what you want instead of what’s there.

Relationships, alliances, and tastes shift under pressure. What once seemed appealing (or impossible) may now demand revision, and adjustments happen fast.

  • Best for: Unexpected breakthroughs, magnetic attraction, seeing new potential in people or projects, aesthetic risks that feel electric.
  • Potential Challenges: Mistaking chemistry for compatibility, abandoning something stable for something shiny.

Astro-Nerd Note: If Venus is your Time Lord (Crusaders, check the Annual Profections training and workbook here) this is going to be a *very active* start for the week. Venus is going to be opposing Neptune and trine Uranus and Pluto which means you’ll get a much better understanding of the new story being told in your Aries, Gemini, and Aquarius houses.

This is true for everyone but it will be much more noticeable for those with an activated Venus.

Wednesday

Wednesday is confrontational in a lot of ways. There are things that need to be said and done and even if they aren’t the most pleasant, now is the time people are likely to do them.

  • Best for: Saying what needs to be said even if it's uncomfortable, clearing the air, decisive action on lingering issues, honesty over harmony.
  • Potential Challenges: Letting frustration dictate your words, unnecessary harshness, picking fights you don't need to win, burning bridges.

Thursday

Thursday the Moon is Void until 2:05 pm eastern. You can learn all about Void Moons here, but the short version is the void periods are often less frenetic and more uninterrupted.

While that should hold true today, something big is building (and has been for days) so if you have time, think about what you want and what work you’re willing to put in to get it.

  • Best for: Internal processing, tying up loose ends before Friday's push, catching your breath, planning your next move without executing yet.
  • Potential Challenges: Mistaking readiness for completion, acting prematurely on half-formed plans, anxiety about what's coming.

Friday

Friday is bold and assertive. There’s confidence and a strong desire to expand, achieve, or be seen, even if it requires effort or pushing some limits.

  • Best for: Taking up more space, pursuing opportunities that seemed out of reach, betting on yourself, expansion that requires you to stretch beyond current capacity.
  • Potential Challenges: Overestimating your resources, saying yes to everything, confusing confidence with preparedness, biting off more than you can chew.

Tangent time. A friend told me that goldfish only grow as big as their tank and if you put them in a pond they get huge and it made me think about the Sun Jupiter square that’s happening today. Then I went on the tiniest ever research expedition and found that it isn’t that they grow to meet the size of their environment, it's that they stop growing when they reach the capacity of their environment (b/c of hormones that inhibit growth).

Later the same day my son started singing ‘just keep walking; just keep walking; just keep walking walking walking; what do we do we walk walk walk’ when I stopped and buffered because I can’t process and walk at the same time. Yes, I know Dory isn’t a goldfish but she kind of is and together it made me realize how often we stop growing and imagining bigger lives for ourselves just because the environment we’re in doesn’t have any room left or we just stop taking steps forward.

You’re a human. An adult human with legs. You may have to step out of the pond (your comfort zone, expectations of others, limitations you’ve adopted that aren’t even yours) and into a whole new world where you’re free to grow, but it will take effort.

Saturday

Saturday things get done, but not without effort. Tasks that seemed simple may take more time or focus than expected, but the results are solid.

Persistence pays off even if it isn’t exciting.

  • Best for: Unglamorous but necessary work, finishing what you started, honoring limitations while still making progress, quality over speed.
  • Potential Challenges: Resentment about how long things take, hitting walls that require patience not force, exhaustion from sustained effort.

Sunday

Sunday the Moon comes in and stirs up the exact same topics that were loud Monday and Tuesday and should help you figure out what you want to build with the Libra New Moon that happens Tuesday but it’s not all butterflies and peonies.

In the background a separate story is heating up in Scorpio as Mercury closes in on Mars, which can read as blunt confrontation or deliberate, tactical action.

  • Best for: Synthesizing the week's themes into clear next steps, strategic conversations, charm backed by substance, innovative solutions.
  • Potential Challenges: Sharp words disguised as honesty, pushing too hard for clarity, mistaking intensity for intimacy, forcing conclusions prematurely.

Until next time, my wish for you is a bigger pond. - Robin💋
