Mars is having a moment. He’s hanging out in Scorpio and ruling the Aries Full Moon that starts off the week. Just before that he becomes the Lord of Mercury who will be under his thrall for the rest of this month and much of next month.
In honor of me being SO much Scorpio and my natal Mercury being in Scorpio, y’all are getting an astrology sermon (or seminar) today.

Monday starts with a shimmer and explodes into fireworks.
Mercury moves into Scorpio at 12:40 pm Eastern and we have the Aries Full Moon at 11:47 pm Eastern.
Mercury in Scorpio invites blunt, probing conversations that dig into what’s usually left unsaid.
The Full Moon is a bit reactionary and in general people are likely to have very little patience. Decisive actions and firm positions that leave no space for negotiation will be wrapping things up, kind of like the finale of a fireworks show.
- Best for: Direct action, clear decisions, honest conversations that settle unfinished matters.
- Potential Challenges: Impulsive reactions, refusing compromise, speaking or acting before thinking things through.

Tuesday is loud. It’s very much still got that Full Moon frenetic type of energy that hasn’t quite had enough time to dissipate and it could lean combative or manipulative.
But that’s not the full story. Sure, some people are going to experience it that way but there’s a layer that reads like pure mastermind genius to me in the day’s configuration.
That’s the (difficult, infuriating, impossible) thing about astrology and doing horoscopes like this. The nuance in the individual chart is completely lost when I (or any other astrologer) has to play the odds and talk about the way something is going to show up for the majority of people.
That’s one of the many reasons I teach astrology inside The Crusade and don’t just spoon feed everything to members (although I do the spoonful of sugar version too because everyone is at a different level and I’m all about meeting people where they are).
You may have heard other people talking about all of the Scorpio being challenging but I LOVE IT. I’m excited for conversations that slip beneath the surface, and insights that turn into tactically brilliant blueprints, and confrontation derived from having a well defined stance.
If that sounds like a nightmare, you might not like today (or the other days that are Scorpio dominant). If it sounds great, buckle up because you’re about to have a lot of fun.

Wednesday is very much a case of two things can be true at one time. People are going to be cranky (or combative and short tempered) and there are good things happening too.

- Best for: Honest confrontation, recognizing what isn’t working, small wins that feel genuinely satisfying.
- Potential Challenges: Irritability, arguments, control issues, impatience that turns small problems into larger ones.

Thursday is steady, comfortable, and productive. Things move along smoothly and interactions are cooperative without being overly demanding. It’s a great day to get things done.
- Best for: Steady work, organizing practical details, pleasant cooperation.
- Potential Challenges: Overindulgence, ignoring new opportunities in favor of comfort.

Saturday has a theme of high standards. That sounds great, right? It is, if you are the one raising your standards. But it’s not so great for the people, places, or things that are no longer sufficient. That part sucks.
I can think of so many ways this could show up. Breakups, proposals, doubling down and working harder on something you’d only been complaining about in the past, or giving up on a thing you claimed to want but were always ‘too busy’ for.
- Best for: Raising expectations, committing to higher quality, recognizing what’s worth continued effort.
- Potential Challenges: Letting go of what no longer meets your standards, uncomfortable limits, tension when accountability replaces excuses.

The Moon is in Cancer and behaving fairly well which is nice but tomorrow Venus changes signs and has a lot to do over the next week and Pluto stations direct. Change is coming.
If you’re feeling well resourced, it’s a great day to do the things that will give you greater capacity for the week ahead.
- Best for: Quiet observation, emotional insight, noticing undercurrents, meaningful conversations with trusted people.
- Potential Challenges: Overanalyzing feelings, confusing intuition with certainty, reacting to imagined problems rather than real ones.
