[Fate & Free Will ] Astrology for the Week of July 7 - 13

There’s a lot going  on this week - Uranus moves into Gemini, Saturn stations retrograde in Aries, there are 5 million extended void Moons, oh and a Capricorn Full Moon. It’s kind of a chaotic mix, but it won’t be boring.

Monday everyone has an opinion but it should be easier to talk through ideas and get everyone (mostly) on the same page, even if it takes a little finesse. Of course, when maneuvering is happening that can also make people a little stabby.

• Best for: Talking things out, pitching ideas, subtle persuasion, making connections
• Potential Challenges: Sharp words, mixed signals, emotional reactions

Tuesday the Moon is void all day - which isn’t really a bad thing. If you’re up for a little light reading, may I suggest A Practical Guide to the Void of Course Moon.

• Best for: Finishing up projects, uninterrupted focus time, journaling, meditation, napping
• Potential Challenges: People changing plans at the last minute, delays, feeling unmotivated

Wednesday 07/09

Wednesday you might find there’s something blocking your mojo at first but then the optimism returns and the drive to do the work could extend far past normal operating hours. 

• Best for: Cutting fluff, fixing what’s unclear, powering through a long task list once things click.
• Potential Challenges: Jumping in too fast, saying yes to too much, burning out before the job’s done.

Thursday 07/10

Thursday the main event is really the Full Moon in Capricorn, which goes exact at 4:36 pm eastern. 

This isn’t really a loud and showy kind of Full Moon, it’s more determined and quiet execution. There’s momentum to take action, especially on something practical or maybe a bit overdue.

• Best for: Making decisions, wrapping up long-term efforts, taking steady action
• Potential Challenges: Pushing too hard too fast, ignoring signs to slow down, emotional shutdowns masquerading as discipline

Friday 07/11

Friday starts with the same astro-situation as Tuesday, a void Moon until 1:21 pm eastern, and the same rules apply. If you’re wondering why there are so many of these lately, it’s because most of the planets have recently moved into new signs which gives the Moon fewer playmates as she makes her way through the sky. 

The rest of the day is fairly productive and depending on where you are, you may even find yourself wanting (or being asked) to work late.

• Best for: Focused work, solid progress, catching up.
• Potential Challenges: Slow start, extra tasks, late wrap-up.

Saturday 07/12

Sunday the Moon is void for forever (again, please see previous link to Void Moons) annnnd Saturn stations retrograde.

He’s only been in Aries for five minutes but in that time he and Neptune should have been showing you what’s worth drawing a line in the sand over. Now you get to spend a few months thinking and revising before it really gets tested (that’ll happen in 2026). 

• Best for: Reflecting on recent decisions, reassessing boundaries, quietly noticing what really matters
• Potential Challenges: Second-guessing yourself, feeling stalled, progress being blocked
