Monday is a great day to make headway on your to-do list and do a little prep work for later in the week. Back up all of your computer things and start getting your little Mercury ducks in a row before Wednesday night. 

Tonight is a good opportunity to dream about the direction you want to be moving towards - big dreams create big results.

Overall it’s a nice start to the week and a good time to set the intention to be gentle with yourself and others for the rest of the week.

Tuesday starts off with some tension which could be frustrating or energizing depending but it probably won’t be boring. 

It’s also a day where you may find the urge to escape is a lot stronger than usual. For some people that might mean that feeling of losing time because you’re enthralled with someone or something new, but for a lot of people, it’s going to be the urge to cuddle with some comfort food and Netflix or a book. 

Try to be intentional with your self-care and make choices that support you for reasons that you love.

Wednesday is another solid day for getting things off of your to-do list. Practical steps forward and little accomplishments may not sound super exciting but they are a form of self-care too.

Thursday the Moon is in Gemini making some lovely aspects that would typically indicate a productive day. This may still be true but I’d implement Mercury retrograde protocols today - by which I mean, double-check every single communication you send and think before you speak. Really, I mean it. Also, start paying attention to clues about the theme for your Mercury retrograde.

Friday:

Friday the Moon is in Gemini, ruled by a Mercury that is stationing retrograde. It’s a lot like Thursday but with more confusion and animosity. 

All of the Mercury retrogrades this year are a little extra. This one has Mercury conjunct Saturn in Aquarius and square Uranus in Taurus and it will be stationing direct conjunct Pluto. 

You’ll likely be rethinking some pretty big topics and revising your plans for the future over the next few weeks and that’s great. Mercury retrograde is perfect for deep dives, obsessive research, re-examining the structures and foundations of part of your life. 

Nothing has gone wrong, you’re just editing this chapter of your life. Edits make the book better, I promise.

As for my practical advice for today specifically, this isn’t the night I’d choose for a date, fun social gathering, webinar, or class (I’d use Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday for that).

Saturday:

Saturday is a little oasis of a day because the moon is at home and applying to a trine with Jupiter... It might be the best day of the week and I sincerely hope you do something nurturing for yourself with the energy.  

Sunday:

• ☉ ☌ ♇ at 26° 26‘ Capricorn | 8:50 am

Sunday is going to be emotionally intense. Not only is the Sun joining Pluto and the Moon opposing Venus, but the full moon is tomorrow. This isn’t the falling-in-love kind of intensity, it’s the intensity required for a caterpillar to turn into liquid and transform into a butterfly.

There’s a short article on Scientific America about the process that will blow your mind and give you a much better idea of what it takes for humans who are in the process of true transformation. 

It’s probably not going to be fun for those who want to be more than what they’ve always been, but those wings are going to be magnificent.
