The chaos from the weekend is over and things are mostly calmer but there are a few unexpected gusts that keep the day from being entirely smooth sailing. Nothing dramatic, just enough to keep things interesting.

• Potential Challenges: Minor disruptions, lingering restlessness from the weekend.

Wednesday we have a New Moon in Pisces but it doesn’t occur until 9:23 pm eastern. 

New Moons are complicated. In traditional astrology it wouldn’t be considered a time to start the new thing because the light of the Moon isn’t visible. Today is more about what you want to start in the light of the events of the past week or so. 

The beginning is probably something you couldn’t have even imagined a few years ago and that's fine because it has a lot of support. 

• Best for: Dreaming big, creative work, devotion, generosity, getting clear on what you want to build next.
• Potential Challenges: Trying to start something before the light is there to support it, impatience with the slow pace.

Thursday is a normal day and it’s also part of a bigger story. Let’s talk about the normal day of it all first. It starts off kind of intense but the momentum and hope is building and leans productive. 

• Best for: Productive work, building momentum, commitment.
• Potential Challenges: Intense start, impatience, discouragement.

But the thing is, The Moon just snuck into Aries and is activating the Saturn and Neptune story that will be unfolding through 2028 and bringing that back into focus so the Sun can come in tomorrow and really get the ball rolling.

Astrology is so interesting to me not because of the individual aspects but because of the larger story they tell. 

The Pisces New Moon is in a different area of life than all of the Aries activity but the stories are tied together in the same way all the parts of your life are tied together through the thread you, as the main character of your life, weave between them. Your work is connected to your home which is connected to your partners. Fear can motivate you to find a new spiritual purpose or set off on a new adventure in the same way that leaving your job could be the first step in learning a new skill that fills you with joy.

The stories are never told in isolation and this week is a beautiful demonstration of the interconnected themes.

Friday we blast fully into a new reality as the Sun moves into Aries (and out of the eclipse zone) and Mercury stations direct. 

This is the astrological new year and the start of a building season that runs through 2028. Mercury going direct clears the worst of the communication chaos from the past three weeks, but the Sun is walking into the Saturn and Neptune in Aries story, not away from it.

It's also the first time all month the scattered Pisces energy finds momentum. The conflicts, the miscommunications, the efforts that kept dissolving, today you start to make progress.
