Astrology for the Week of September 13-19

Monday:

The Moon in Sagittarius is really a lovely start to the week. It’s a great time for thinking creatively and expressing your thoughts and feelings - generally. It’s great for things like starting or working on a piece of art or a writing project, working with music, and any type of planning that requires a lot of creativity.

However, there is a strong Neptune influence building so there may also be a lot of confusion, idealization, or catastrophizing going on. If it seems too good to be true or you feel like it’s the end of the world, write it down and think about it for a few days and take action on it later - if you still want to.

Tuesday:

Today is a DAY. The Sun opposition to Neptune is exact at 4:20 am, followed by the Moon moving into Capricorn shortly after and Mars moving into Libra at 7:13 pm.

That’s a lot of energy for one little day to hold. Those nebulous thoughts that Neptune has been stirring up may suddenly feel more real and your desire to take action on them could get a jolt when Mars moves into Libra - seriously, tho - don’t do it. Write it all down or make a voice memo - you’re cosmically a little drunk and you need to wait until you’ve sobered up for life-altering decisions.

Now let’s talk about Mars in Libra. Mars is debilitated in Libra which just means it can be more difficult for it to do Mars things like take decisive action or burn something to the ground… but that’s not always a bad thing. When it’s being used to the best of its potential, I like to think of it as a James Bond placement. Still deadly but force is applied with diplomacy. Totally a womanizer but the women are enjoying it. Keep that in mind as you move through your days until October 30th. 

Wednesday:

There may be a strong desire to communicate about those Neptunian dreams today. It’s probably better to continue to resist the urge to suddenly confess your undying love, quit your job, or sell everything and set off as a nomad. 

Use the energy to blow through your to-do list, journal, and plan.

The Moon joins Pluto at 12:39 am and just like that, you’re waking up with a hangover. You might even find yourself feeling a little cranky as you sober up from the beginning of the week. There is the potential for it to be a very frustrating day where you might want to say and do things that you’d later regret. 

On the other hand, if you’re able to drink a cup of cosmic coffee and brush off the emo that’s still floating around, you can take action on some practical matters with a lot of success during the day.

But then...there’s Thursday night.   

There is a lot of Saturn Venus action happening and if I was going to make a prediction without knowing anything about your chart, I’d guess there’s something up with love or money and maybe both and how grounded, stable, and structured you feel. Tonight and tomorrow are a great time to have an honest conversation with yourself about whatever is bubbling up. This is the time for practical not fanciful. Try creating a budget instead of going on a shopping spree to make yourself feel better about your growing debt or signing up to work with a relationship coach instead of hitting Tinder in the hopes that the 51st time will be when you find the one. 

Friday:

The vibe from last night carries over into today but it is otherwise a calm day with limited astrological drama. That is, if everyone stuck to the practical planning and implementation. If you or the people in your life went with the shopping spree or relationship drama….it might be a continuation of that.

The Moon is void from 4:14 am until it enters Pisces at 3:22 pm. It’s a nice quiet vibe that becomes dreamier and more chill as the evening comes into view. It’s a lovely night for a romantic date or some decadent self-care.

Another lovely day that lets you build toward the upcoming full moon in Pisces. If you have any big manifestation plans you’ve been working towards since the Virgo New Moon do the things or do the last-minute prep to roll it out tomorrow before the Full Moon.

If you aren’t actively trying to create anything, use this time to dream bigger. Your life is a magical creative experiment in which you can cultivate the experiences you most want to have but it does take intentionality and a willingness to dream big and Sunday is perfect for that.
